Hopland Strawbale

Nestled in the rolling hills south of Hopland, this strawbale house utilizes an open air floor plan with breezeways separating the traditional spatial elements of the home. Natural building materials such as clay and lime plasters, fiberblock flooring made from recycled carpet and formaldehyde-free products are featured. End grain fir flooring gives the floor an appearance of a woven basket.
