Orr Springs Homestead



This energy efficient, modest home built in 2005 features Earth cooling tubes buried in the ground for summer cooling and a slab floor situated to store heat from the sunlight coming through the southern windows. Energy for the house is provided by a photo-voltaic array on the nearby barn and a hydroelectric generation system.
